Parish Council now meeting via ZoomParish Council now meeting via Zoom  »  15 May

Due to the Coronavirus, the Government has allowed Parish Councils to meet remotely and Britwell Parish Council met remotely for the first time on 15 April 2020.Until further notice, the Council will meet remotely via Zoom which is open to residents to attend.

The Government has not however allowed Parish meetings to be held remotely and accordingly the Annual Parish meeting, scheduled for 20 May , has been cancelled.

Further to recent Government advice to reduce transmission of Coronavirus, the Community Centre is closed to the public. The Chicken Ranch bar is also closed.

Further to the elections on 2 May 2019, three new Councillors have been elected , with the Council changing from a Britwell Party majority to a Labour Party majority Council.

The High Court today held that the proposed abolition of Britwell Parish Council by Slough Borough Council was unlawful. The judge has therefore quashed the Abolition Order.
