Coronavirus – Useful Contacts for Volunteers

Some useful contacts for those people who wish to help -

Government  - Government advice on helping safely is set out at-

The Government advises that you can only provide support to people who are in isolation if you fulfil ALL of the conditions below:

  • You are well and have no symptoms like a cough or high temperature and nobody in your household does
  • You are under 70
  • You are not pregnant
  • You do not have any long-term health conditions that make you vulnerable to coronavirus.


NHS – For those who wish to join the NHS volunteer army, see -


Red Cross  - Also looking for volunteers in this Emergency –


Slough Borough Council  - has joined forces with Slough Council for Voluntary Service, SCVS, to coordinate an army of volunteers to help people in the borough.

People who require help can ask directly by visiting the website or call 07933 716 914, and others can nominate neighbours, friends or family members for assistance.
